Health Education England (HEE) is asking for case studies, evidence and insights to support a major independent review into the digital future of the NHS.

The Topol Review, led by cardiologist, geneticist, and digital medicine researcher Dr Eric Topol  -and facilitated by HEE - is exploring how to prepare the healthcare workforce, through education and training, to deliver the digital future. By sharing their experiences, contributors can help to build an understanding about which technologies are already being used effectively now, and which offer the best potential to be used in healthcare in the future.

These insightes will add to an understanding of the likely impact of these changes on the required skills, selection, education, curricula, training, development and learning of current and future NHS staff.

The Topol Review aims to enable NHS staff to make the most of game-changing technologies such as genomics, digital medicine, artificial intelligence and robotics to improve services and help ensure a sustainable NHS.
