The WMAHSN is now entering a new year of EIT Health KIC operations. EIT Health runs on an annual planning cycle and the call for proposals for inclusion in the 2018 Business Plan has now been issued, with a deadline of 12 April. There is a useful summary on page 5 of the document. We have had considerable success so far, so you are strongly encouraged to apply.
Projects will need partners from at least two CLCs, and those who are considering or preparing proposals can find partners at the forthcoming Matchmaking Event, running 1 - 3 February in Uppsala. Paddie Murphy and Karen Morrey from the WMAHSN are planning to attend and would like to take ideas from West Midlands partners with them. This document gives an indication of some of the themes that are planned for the round table discussions at the event.
Please use this template to describe your idea and the type of collaborators you are seeking, and send it to Paddie or Karen by 30 January. The more detail they receive, the better job they can do finding partners for you. If you would like to attend the event, please let Paddie or Karen know and they will forward the registration information.
Finally, there is an update on the business plan proposals and more from the EIT Health KIC in the January West Midlands update.
