The Department for International Trade, China-Britain Business Council and the Association of British Healthcare Industries (ABHI) are organising a trade mission to the China Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF).
Participation will provide companies with the opportunity to scope the Chinese market and build on existing contacts. The mission will include meetings with Chinese government agencies, company-partnering opportunities, expert briefings on the market and a hospital visit.
CMEF 2017 is expected to attract 4,000 exhibitors from more than 28 countries and will feature 12 country pavilions. China is one of the world’s biggest markets for life sciences. Its overall medical-technology market alone is estimated to be worth over €36 billion, with annual growth forecast at 20% through to 2018. UK companies interested in taking part in the UK Medical Technology Trade Mission to CMEF 2017 should register their interest now.
Mission participation will enable attendees to benefit from:

ABHI is introducing a dedicated POD area in 2017, along with stands options. These are aimed at companies wishing to participate in the show for the first time but on a much smaller scale than a stand.
There is no management fee for participating in the mission but you must cover your own flight, hotel and internal transportation costs.
For more information on the mission, please contact John Lownds in the DIT Life Sciences Organisation at firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 7215 8086. If you wish to exhibit at the show, please contact Sarah Izon at ABHI as soon as possible.
