West Midlands Patient Safety Collaborative seeks Project Assistant to join the team

The West Midlands Patient Safety Collaborative (WMPSC) - run by WMAHSN - is seeking a Project Assistant to joins its busy and thriving team. 

The primary aim of the West Midlands PSC is to improve the safety of patients and ensure continual patient safety learning sits at the heart of healthcare within the whole of the West Midlands. The new Project Assistant's primary base will be the Institute of Translational Medicine, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with occasional travel involved to stakeholder meetings and events across the West Midlands. 

The PSC is looking for an outstanding person to provide a comprehensive administrative and project support service to the West Midlands PSC. We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual with broad administrative experience to ensure the organisation works according to national and local guidelines.

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, interacting with the core team internally but also with a wide variety of stakeholders including patients, carers, healthcare professionals and Industry partners to offer a friendly, efficient and comprehensive administrative service to all.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of administrative management, experience of organising meetings and taking minutes, problem-solving skills for a wide range of general queries, an enthusiastic and collaborative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and personal credibility that generates the trust of a wide group of internal and external stakeholders.
