Health and Care Innovation Expo 2016 will return to Manchester Central on 7 and 8 September - and WMAHSN will be showcasing the impact and potential of AHSNs alongside others at the AHSN Network stand at stand 50.
This year, Health and Care Innovation Expo will once again focus on the biggest health and care issues and developments as AHSNs continue to support the implementation of the NHS Five Year Forward View. This is a fantastic event for everyone interested in new ways of improving health care.
For the first time, the stand will feature an Innovation Zone for businesses to showcase great innovations, and four organisations from the West Midlands will have a presence - Digital Life Sciences, social enterprise Health Exchange, Serendip Digital Health Quarter tenant Kaido and Simple Telehealth (jointly with East Midlands and North East and North Cumbria AHSNs).
The AHSN Network is hosting an evening stakeholder reception at the stand on Wednesday 7 September from 5.30pm - 6.30pm. If you would like to attend, please register for a place here.
The NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) will feature on the main stage at 9am on Thursday 8 September, with a panel session exploring the benefits of NHS trusts and CCGs of implementing innovation in meeting the challenges they face. The AHSN Network will also be involved in a number of pop-up university slots.
