The Health Innovation West Midlands (HIWM) are currently recruiting for an Assistant Programme Manager to join the team, with applications closing on 28th November 2021.

As Assistant Programme Manager you will lead an agreed area of work, having operational responsibility for its design and delivery.  Working across the West Midlands region, you will be required to deliver and demonstrate impact in improvements to patient safety in your assigned area of responsibility.  To achieve this, you will need to work closely and in partnership with stakeholders from across the health and care system, bringing them together to lead improvement.  You will be expected to underpin all work with quality improvement methodology and work to create a just safety culture.

The post holder will need to develop strong trusting relationships with stakeholders, be autonomous and confident to work on your own as well as part of a team.  You will be required to have expert knowledge of quality improvement methodology and be able to demonstrate that you have lead projects in quality and safety improvement.

This role is based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and/or I centrum, Holt Street, Birmingham with regular travel across the West Midlands region and occasional national travel, the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is therefore essential.
