The GP leader of the Future: who will they be, and what will they need?

In this second lecture from the new University of Birmingham Centre for Health and Social Care Leadership, Professor Helen Stokes-Lampard will outline the current rapidly evolving NHS and specifically the Primary Care landscape and how the various national plans, reviews and contracts interlink to form a coherent vision for the future. Technology and the implications of its increasing adoption and integration into healthcare will be explored before Helen will outline where clinical leadership is at present, exploring a few myths and making suggestions for the future of clinical leadership.

Cervical Screening - Health and Wellbeing event

Ricoh Arena, Judds Lane, Longford, Coventry, CV6 6AQ

WASPS netball team, NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG, European City of Sport and the Year of Wellbeing Coventry and Warwickshire have joined forces to run a local partnership initiative. The local cervical screening campaign will be aimed at women encouraging and reminding them to attend a smear test when they are invited, the campaign will be targeted across Coventry and Warwickshire to increase the uptake of cervical screening tests.
