This industry-focussed virtual session on Wednesday 21st July explores the use of predictive modeling and quantitative methods for advancing the understanding of chronic, non-communicable disease.

Meet the team from the Centre for Systems Modelling and Quantitative Biomedicine (SMQB) and the Mathematical Biology and Healthcare research group.

SMQB is led by Professor John Terry, a mathematician whose research transcends traditional discipline boundaries. The Centre has a strong track record of co-creating research projects at the interface between quantitative disciplines and biomedical and clinical research. At present the Centre focuses on research challenges in neuroscience and neurology, endocrinology and reproduction, diabetes and metabolism, vertebrate development and genomics.
