The 2nd West Midlands EmLap Collaborative Event

5 July 2019 The Suites, Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Broad Street, B1 2EP

Following the successful first EmLap collaborative event in March, which offered an opportunity for us all to reflect, share and learn from colleagues across the West Midlands who have been successful in making changes to improve care: we would now like invite you to join us for the second instalment on 5th July.

This second collaborative event will also provide plenty of opportunity to review data from across our region, exploring in teams what we can learn from each other and what we might change next. This will include a session on ‘Making Data Count’ (use of run charts to support QI). In addition we have invited speakers describing how they developed ‘a new surgical rota for 24/7 consultant delivered EGS care’, and others describing the set up and benefits introducing a COTE (Care Of The Elderly) service for EmLap patients. There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A.
