Frailty Conference - Midlands & East

Hosted by the Regional Medical Directorate for NHS England Midlands and East this event is a free full day conference which will bring key stakeholders together to understand the national context, share good practice and develop action plans. We have confirmation that either Martin Vernon, the National Clinical Director for older people or Dawn Moody, the Associate National Clinical Director for Older People will be joining us as the national speaker. The agenda will include presentations on frailty from local sites.

The Conference will aim to focus on:

  • National strategic plans for older people living with or at risk of developing frailty
  • Identify regional variation and develop good practice with regards to the frail elderly
  • Helping STP areas develop strategic plans for managing the frail elderly population.
  • Explore workforce issues across health and social care
