Human Factors and Safer Births

11 May 2017 The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Austin Court, 80 Cambridge Street, Birmingham B1 2NP

This one-day event in Birmingham – organised jointly by the Clinical Human Factors Group (CHFG) and West Midlands Academic Health Sciences Network (WMAHSN) Patient Safety Collaborative, and the latest in a series of open seminars – will provide an opportunity to focus on the challenges facing teams involved in the delivery of maternity services in response to Better Births and other national maternity and neonatal initiatives. It will explore how a human factors approach can support the reduction of preventable harm to mothers and babies and help develop resilient teams and organisations.

The day includes the opportunity to hear about approaches being taken in maternity across the country, as well as contributing to group discussion and networking.

Further information and registration are available on the CHFG website
