The Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals (BMS) Pfizer Alliance is delighted to announce the first UK Value Academy Masterclass event, which will take place on Saturday 18 March.

Value Academy Masterclass is a one-day interactive meeting designed to support healthcare professionals involved in resource allocation decision-making. You are invited to join the expert faculty and colleagues from a variety of disciplines to explore the value decisions and assessments that are central to treatment choice, with a focus on novel oral anticoagulants (NOACs).

By attending this meeting, participants will:

  • Understand how value should drive change
  • Explore factors affecting healthcare decision making in the UK
  • Understand how to maximise value in anticoagulation
  • Benefit from multidisciplinary, expert and peer-to-peer learning, including exchange of best practice for models of care

Speakers and steering committee members include Professor Ruth Chambers OBE GP, Clinical Chair at NHS Stoke-on-Trent CCG and Lead for the Long Term Conditions Clinical Priority at West Midlands Academic Health Science Network, while Tony Jamieson, Pharmacist and Clinical Lead for Medicines at Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network, also serves on the committee.
