Prevention is a key priority for NHS England and featured heavily in the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health which states that one of the eight principles to underpin reform is that prevention and early intervention must be prioritised.
This WMMHIN event aims to prompt discussion and actions around the topic of prevention of severe and enduring mental illness, and emerging themes from evidence bases, as well as current and potential pertinent innovations.

Following on from the presentations attendees will be invited to participate in interactive workshops on one of a number of the prevention-themed topics. There will also be a further opportunity for networking and refreshments at the end of the event.
A light finger buffet will be served at the start of the event giving attendees a chance for lunch and networking during registration. Refreshments will be available throughout the day. Woodland Grange is fully accessible to all and there is disabled parking on site.
