Physical Activity and Cardiovascular Health across the Lifespan

This one day meeting will present state of the art research talks from leading UK and European researchers on the topic of physical activity and cardiovascular health across the human lifecycle. The focus will be on interrelationships between physical activity and cardiovascular health in human ageing as a stimulus to understand effective preventive strategies for enhanced cardiovascular health in childhood, adulthood and older adulthood.

Registration has been subsidised by the British Heart Foundation to enable as many postgraduate research students/early career researchers to attend. The cost is £20 for postgraduates/early career and £40 for all other delegates. Register your place here

Abstract submission

Submissions for presentation as either oral or poster presentations are now open on any topic related the conference theme. Abstracts should be no longer than 300 words and comprise the following structured sections:

  • Title
  • Author names and affiliations (not included in the abstract word count)
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions.
