The Public Health England Annual Conference 2016 will bring together over 1400 participants from a wide range of organisations, to learn, network and share knowledge and experience.
The theme of this year’s conference is Evidence into action, and the conference will promote and showcase the application and translation of science and research, to support effective local and national action to improve public health. We anticipate the conference will be of interest to representatives from across the health and social care system interested in applied prevention research, programmes and policy.
The outline of the six track programme is now available, covering a wide range of topics. Nicola Blackwood MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Public Health and Innovation and Chris Wormald, Permanent Secretary, Department of Health have confirmed their attendance and Sir David King, the Foreign Secretary's Special Representative for Climate Change will be giving a lecture on planetary health.
It is possible to book your place to attend one or both days of the conference, and you also have an option to join the pre-conference workshops and The Big Debate on Monday 12 September. Please note that in previous years places have been greatly oversubscribed so we advise you to book as soon as possible for one of the remaining places. You can book your place here.
