West Midlands Genomics Medicine Centre Recruitment and Consent Training Course

The West Midlands is the largest Genomic Medicine Centre taking part in the 100,000 Genomes Project. A total of 18 acute trusts are taking part across the region and the project will be coming to your trust soon. Can you help identify and/or consent eligible patients with a rare disease or cancer? If so, please attend the Recruitment and Consent Training Course to find out more.

The Recruitment and Consent Course will include:

  • Introduction to genomics medicine and how it will improve care for patients
  • Recruiting, counselling and consent
  • Ethical and psychosocial implications

The 100,000 Genomes Project has the potential to change clinical practice; join us in creating a legacy which embeds genomics in clinical practice bringing benefits to patients across the region.
