Research workshop: Improving the capabilities of NHS organisations to use evidence

At this one-day national event, the University of Warwick will be reporting the major results of a two-year NIHR Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) Programme-funded research project, “Improving the capabilities of NHS organisations to use evidence”. This project focuses on what forms of evidence are used by clinical commissioning groups when making service improvements, when evidence is used and how, with a view to improving organisational capabilities for evidence-based decisions.

Presenters at the workshop will include Professor Matthew Cripps, National Director of NHS Right Care, and Principal Investigator Professor Jacky Swan, of Warwick Business School. Further presenters and the final programme will be announced shortly. T

The workshop will take place at Scarman Conference Centre, University of Warwick and is being organised by Warwick Business School with full sponsorship by the NIHR HS&DR Programme.

There is no registration or participation fee and lunch and refreshments will be provided. The event will start with registration at 9.30am and finish at 4pm. Places are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. To book your place please contact dawn.coton@wbs.ac.uk
