Mental health should be everyone’s business because many of us have or will experience mental health problems at some point during our lives. Mental health impacts on all aspects of people’s lives: people with mental health problems often have fewer qualifications, are more likely to be unemployed, are more likely to live in disadvantaged areas and are more likely to experience poor physical health.
The Five Ways to Wellbeing Training is a mental health awareness program that incorporates evidence-based public health messages to promote wellbeing. It is aimed at frontline staff who provide services to the public.
This course is free but only open to people who live and work in the Birmingham area. To book your place, visit the BVSC website.
Please note that cancellations less than 24 hours before the training date will incur an invoice of £30.
