16 November 2015 The Institute of Translational Medicine, New Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Mindelsohn Way, Edgbaston, BI5 2GW

The Lunar Society is pleased and excited to invite you to the free Boulton and Watt Commemoration Lecture, "The Third Revolution - how the digital revolution is impacting on health". The lecture will be delivered by Tim Jones, Director of Delivery at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and joint theme lead for digital health for WMAHSN, and Dr Tom Clutton-Brock, Senior Lecturer in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the University of Birmingham.

They will reflect upon the digital revolution's impact on both the delivery and consumption of healthcare. Key points also to be examined are the future challenges and opportunities posed by digitisation, precision medicine and individually tailored healthcare - and the potential impact they could have on the future of healthcare and wider economic and social improvement. The event will offer and produce a fascinating insight into the future development of medicine and how Birmingham will be affected, with influential figures expected to attend and explore this ever changing landscape.

You are advised to book your place early at Eventbrite to avoid any disappointment.
